Tattoo Removal Services Portland, Oregon

The UnTattoo Parlor specializes in professional, pain-free laser tattoo removal services in Portland, Oregon and the surrounding area.  The UnTattoo Parlor is proud to offer the most effective tattoo removal technology clearing away ink more quickly and more comfortably than in times past.  We believe tattoo removal is a medical procedure that requires the highest standard of training and care. The UnTattoo Parlor hires and trains only licensed nurses to administer treatments and supervise tattoo removal procedures.

Older lasers sometimes left scars. In our experience, scarring is a rarity. If a problem develops during a treatment, we’ll stop the procedure and reassess your condition. We use a Cutera Enlighten and CynoSure PicoSure lasers. These lasers target pigment, not skin. Skin is less likely to overheat and scar with our precise laser.

Large, complex or densely colored tattoos may require several sessions. One-color tattoos may disappear after the first few appointments. In either situation, your tattoo will fade gradually in the weeks following a laser treatment. Sessions are best scheduled at 8-week intervals to give the body time to clear the ink.

We are more than technicians at the Untattoo Parlor. We are experienced medical professionals. We have the tools and skills to effectively break up the ink in tattoos.

Permanent Make-Up Removal

The Untattoo Parlor offers permanent eye makeup removal. Sometimes called micropigmentation, permanent makeup is a type of tattoo. We use the same laser on both makeup and tattoos. The laser dissolves pigment in the eye makeup. We use a procedure that’s quick, painless and safe.

Permanent eyeliner is among the most popular of cosmetic enhancements. Not all technicians are equally qualified or adept at applying this type of tattoo. Ink may be the wrong color. The pigment can drift. The application may be clumsy or crooked.

It’s hard to hide a poorly applied eye makeup, and no one should have to. When eye makeup looks wrong, you want it gone. Our staff takes care to protect your eyes during laser treatments. We numb and shield your eyes. We’ll keep you as comfortable as possible during your visit. After the first treatment, the pigment gradually fades over several weeks. You may need more than one session for complete removal.

Because we use the most advanced picosecond laser technology, The UnTattoo Parlor is able to remove tattoos in about half the amount of time required by a Q-switched laser. Our treatments are priced according to the amount of ink you have and the amount of time it will take us to treat your tattoo with or without a lidocaine injection for pain. Because we consider tattoo removal a medical procedure and we value your safety, all treatments are administered by a licensed nurse.

  • Treatment prices are estimated on a case by case basis. Costs range between $100 and $400 and are evaluated at your first appointment.
  • Most tattoos will fall in the $200 to $400 range, with the exception of tattoos that are less than 1/2″ in diameter.

Most tattoos can be treated in 1 hour. If you have a large area of ink that will need longer than an hour to treat, we will evaluate your removal process on a case by case basis.

The number of treatments required will vary from person to person depending on your treatment goals, the age of your tattoo, the colors of the ink and the density of the pigment. Lightening a tattoo for a cover-up usually takes between 1-2 treatments, while removing a tattoo entirely can range  anywhere from 4-7 treatments. The best way to accurately determine how much removing your tattoo will cost is to visit our office for a free consultation.  If you decide to proceed with removal we can often treat your tattoo during the same appointment.

  • The Untattoo Parlor offers a 10% per treatment discount to law enforcement officers, members of the armed forces or those seeking to enlist in the military.

TUP Cancellation Policy

We believe that people and professionalism are the heart of what we do. Our staff is composed of experienced, licensed nurses who will go the extra mile to show up for their patients and to provide them with the best care possible. If an appointment is missed or cancelled late, this cancellation not only takes away a spot on the schedule from another patient who might like to come in but also directly affects the salary of our nurses and the overhead of our business.

The UnTattoo Parlor asks that if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment please do so at least 24 hours in advance. Any missed or late cancelled appointment will assessed a fee. If you were scheduled for a Free Consultation, the Missed or Late Cancelled appointment fee will be $75. If you were on the schedule for a 30 Minute or a 1 Hour Treatment, the Missed or Late Cancelled appointment fee will be half of the amount of the total cost of your treatment. If you are a first time patient, the Missed or Late Cancelled appointment fee will be half of the amount of your total treatment price proposed in your consultation. If you are assessed a fee and if we attempt to run your card on file and it does not go through, the Missed or Late Cancelled appointment fee must be paid in full before proceeding with your next visit.

The only way to cancel an appointment is online through our website (the website accepts cancellations up to 24 hours in advance), by leaving us a message over the phone or by sending us an email. We know that life happens however we do not discuss our late cancellation policy or make decisions regarding fees over the phone. If you feel you were charged unfairly, we are happy to listen. Please feel free to send us an email with your concerns or make an appointment to come in to the office to discuss in person.”
