Permanent Makeup
Removal
People seek permanent makeup tattoo removal when the pigment in the permanent makeup drifts, changes hue, or simply doesn’t look right. The Untattoo Parlor uses up-to-date laser technology to remove various types of ink, including permanent eye makeup, lip liner tattoos, and tattooed eyebrows.
How Long Does It Take To Remove Permanent Makeup?
Tattoo pigment removal may require more than one session. Some permanent makeup, and other cosmetic tattoos cover a small area and are generally a single color, requiring less treatments, but artists are now creating more complex colors for permanent makeup which can take more time to remove.
Treatments last about 20 minutes. Your permanent makeup will fade after the treatment, continuing to lighten for several weeks. During a follow-up visit, we’ll assess the changes and recommend further treatments if needed.

Lasers safely remove the pigment of cosmetic tattoos and permanent makeup. Other methods may not work as well, could leave scars or cause pain. Our trained medical staff includes registered nurses and a board-certified surgeon. While you’re in our shop, we’ll look after your health while working on removing your cosmetic tattoos.
Our technicians use the Candela Picoway laser for permanent makeup removal, cosmetic tattoo removal, and other types of laser tattoo removal projects. The tattoo removal laser breaks pigment with bursts of light that reach beneath the surface of the skin. After a treatment, your body will flush out the ink, eventually eliminating the particles from your system.
Before permanent eye makeup removal, we anesthetize your eyes with drops. The procedure is painless. Your corneas are protected from the laser with stainless steel shields. Your eyes will not be harmed during the procedure.

These patients are in the middle of their treatments and are almost finished. Sometimes tattoos show results immediately, and sometimes, due to things like ink density and age, it takes a few sessions to really show a visible difference. We're excited to keep updating their progress, and can't wait to share the end results.

Eyebrow Pigment Removal
Before treating an entire brow, we recommend coming in for a free consultation and allowing us to do a test spot with the laser. The test spot will give us an idea if or how the pigment may oxidize or change color and will allow us to craft a treatment plan for removal or lightening of the pigment. We recommend scheduling your first appointment for a full treatment about 3-4 weeks after the test spot has healed.
PLEASE NOTE: *A free consultation is required before first treatment*
*all treatments are administered by a licensed nurse
The picosecond lasers we use to remove permanent and semi-permanent pigment do not affect the hair follicles. Immediately after treatment, the hair may temporarily turn a whitish color, however, this reaction usually subsides after a few hours and the hair returns to its normal color.

Eyeliner Pigment
Semi-permanent/permanent eyeliner pigment usually fades more quickly than tattoo pigment on other areas of the body. On average about 6-9 treatments are required to remove the pigment entirely and most patients see changes after the first treatment.
After numbing eyes drops are administered, aluminum eye shields are placed in the eye sockets in order to fully protect the eyes from the laser. Depending on how much ink you have, the whole process usually takes anywhere from 10-15 minutes. The numbing eye drops do not affect your vision and most people find the numbing effect wears off in under an hour.

Cancellation Policy
People and professionalism are at the heart of what we do. Our staff is composed of experienced, licensed nurses who will go the extra mile to show up for their patients and to provide them with the best care possible. If an appointment is missed or canceled late, this cancellation not only takes away a spot on the schedule from another patient who might like to come in but also directly affects the salary of our nurses and the overhead of our business.
The UnTattoo Parlor asks that if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment please do so at least 24 hours in advance. Any missed or late canceled appointment will be assessed a fee. If you were scheduled for a Free Consultation, the Missed or Late Cancelled appointment fee will be $100. If you were on the schedule for a 30 Minute or a 1 Hour Treatment, the Missed or Late Cancelled appointment fee will be half of the amount of the total cost of your treatment. If you are a first-time patient, the Missed or Late Cancelled appointment fee will be half of the amount of your total treatment price proposed in your consultation. If you are assessed a fee and if we attempt to run your card on file and it does not go through, the Missed or Late Cancelled appointment fee must be paid in full before proceeding with your next visit.
The only way to cancel an appointment is online through our website (the website accepts cancellations up to 24 hours in advance), by leaving us a message over the phone or by sending us an email. We know that life happens however we do not discuss our late cancellation policy or make decisions regarding fees over the phone. If you feel you were charged unfairly, we are happy to listen. Please feel free to send us an email with your concerns or make an appointment to come into the office to discuss in person.
